Introduction
This tab will include some of the weekly reflections that I did during my teaching practice. I will also include some small reflections on my lessons. It is important to write reflection because I helps me as a student teacher to know my mistakes and what can I do for the next lesson to improve my weakness. It also helps to change my way of teaching.
Transition between the activities
I reflected on transition between the activities because in my previous teaching practice I had some difficulties to rotate the students between the activities and it takes a lot of time to rotate them. That's why I chose a week to implement different strategies for students to rotate them between the activities.
Differentiated activities
I reflected on how it is imprortnat to differentiate the activities because in my previous teaching practice I had some difficulties to differentiate the activities and these effects on my assessments because I couldn’t assess the students. That's why I chose a week to search and found how to differentiate the activities based on the students' levels.
Implementing formative strategies
I reflected on how it is important to implement a variety of engaging strategies to assess the students and this was my Action Research problem as well because I found that when I assessed the students previously some of them get bored so I tried this year to implement some strategies that engage the students while they are being assessed.
Lesson Reflections
Here are some examples of the mini reflection that I did to reflect on my lessons. Those reflections helped me to improve my teaching, I learned how to asses the students, and how to engage them during carpet and center time.
